The sample illustrations presented here are the
original works a GEA member, Shaik Abdul Wahed representing some 25 years of
engineering and part of larger collection to be compiled as a book.
Uniqueness of these works lies in the fact that this is probably the only
such compilation anywhere which looks at construction and Engineering from
uncomfortably different perspective.
These works illustrations started as yearly calendar sometimes in late
seventies. Number of these works have appeared under Shaiky’s View in
Institution of Engineers, Malaysia bulletins on intermittent regular basis.
and number of them have been used by others to illustrate some engineering
topic or other.
Though these works are based on simple premise that behind highly technical
realm of engineering and construction there is always an unpredictable
factor, the human disguised as an engineer. This is where the fun begins.
